PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (PDO)
The Planning and Development Office (PDO) is headed by a Director, being designated by the University President. The Director directly reports to the University President. At the present set-up, PDO has one Administrative Assistant. MISSION STATEMENT To serve as the focal delivery unit of the university in the collection, consolidation and dissemination of data and information towards effective and efficient planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of various plans, programs, projects, and activities (3PsA) towards the achievement of desired outcomes aligned to the mandate of the university. TASKS & FUNCTIONS
1. Assists all concerned delivery units (colleges and satellite campuses) and other offices in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of various 3PsA; 2. Consolidates data and relevant information from concerned delivery units and offices that pertain to the performance or physical accomplishments of the university; 3. Prepares reports in accordance to the requirements set by various national and regional agencies such as the Commission of Higher Education (CHED), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA); 4. Serves as the Secretariat (lead unit) in the preparation, updating and annual review of the university's Strategic Plan and Master Plan in close coordination with the various delivery units (colleges and satellite campuses) and other offices; 5. Conducts coordination meetings and workshops with concerned delivery units and other offices towards proper dissemination of data and information in relation to the overall planning and development of the university as well as the timely submission of reports; 6. Represents to various working committees and task force created by the University President; and 7. Performs other functions as prescribed/required by the University President.
